Need help with an article? Look no further. I'm a hard-working storyteller who can meet deadlines. An accomplished
journalist, I've worked for more than 15 years writing and editing for national and local magazines and their online media.
For much of my career, I have
focused on business issues. I relish most opportunities to use narrative style to put a human face on analysis of issues and
trends. I honed my skills covering the business strategies and marketing tactics of technology companies for Adweek
Magazines' Technology Marketing. I also wrote about Internet media and marketing for Adweek and Mediaweek.
But I'm not all business.
I have a keen interest in writing articles on science, health, and personal finance. I've provided clients with stories
on diverse topics ranging from green building products to advance healthcare directives.
Want to get technical? I have the chops to handle product
reviews and specialized information. I spent my first three years in New York climbing up the editorial ladder at PC
Magazine sibling and Ziff Davis startup Windows Sources. Part of my work at the University of Hawaii at Manoa
involves producing publications for an audience that included fish and shrimp farmers, biotechnology researchers,
and government policymakers.
Today, I continue to turn complex material into compelling content. I help marine
biologists, oceanographers, and geologists communicate their research on coral reefs in the Pacific as the science editor
for the Coral Reef Ecosystem Division of NOAA Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center.
