journalist, I've worked for 15 years writing and editing for national and local magazines and their online media.
For much of my career, I have focused on business issues. I relish most the opportunity to use
narrative style to put a human face on trend examination. I honed my skills covering the business strategies and marketing
tactics of technology companies for Adweek Magazines' Technology Marketing. I also wrote about Internet media and
marketing for Adweek and Mediaweek.
But I'm not all business. I have a keen interest in writing articles on science, health,
and personal finance. I've provided clients with stories on diverse topics ranging from green building products to advance
healthcare directives.

I spent my first three years in New York climbing up the editorial ladder at PC Magazine sibling and Ziff Davis startup
Windows Sources. Today, I continue to turn complex material into compelling stories. Part of my work at the University
of Hawaii at Manoa involves producing publications for an audience that includes fish and shrimp farmers as well
as molecular biologists and biotechnology researchers.
